Logistics

The logistics of a vehicle outside Europe usually involve inland transportation abroad, shipping, and transportation from the port in the Netherlands to our secure premises at VDS Auto Import in Benthuizen, The Netherlands. Of course, we can handle this entire process for you. Because of close collaborations with various logistics partners, we are able to offer competitive rates for transportation and shipping.

Conversion to European standards

Besides technical inspection, we can perform the necessary technical modifications in our professional workshop. This includes changing the lighting, installation of (detachable) tow-bar, insurance-approved alarm systems, and navigation systems. Conversion costs are quoted separately. Ask your VDS Auto Import specialist for all the options.

Inspections and registration

Thanks to intensive cooperation with inspection authorities such as GTÜ and RDW, we can conduct inspections of large volumes of vehicles per week. This can be done in our specially equipped inspection lane or on-site at the inspection authorities. This allows us to complete the entire import process in the shortest possible time without compromising on quality.

Don't overpay on taxes!

VDS Auto Import always offers you the lowest BPM calculation method. This means that we calculate the BPM using all accepted methods and then select the most favorable calculation method. As a result, you always pay the lowest possible remaining BPM amount. If desired, we can also arrange the BPM declaration based on an appraisal by an accredited appraiser.
